Founded over 30 years ago, EFAP Australia Pty Ltd has built a strong reputation for supplying quality emergency first aid, medical, rescue, and safety solutions to organisations across Australia. Through decades of supporting community emergency response initiatives and working alongside ambulance services, emergency responders, healthcare providers, and industry, we remain committed to delivering dependable products and exceptional customer service.

EFAP Australia is led by Phillip Krushka, whose career spans more than 40 years in emergency services, defence, and safety-related industries. Phillip began his career in the Royal Australian Air Force as an Aircraft Life Support Fitter, where he was responsible for the manufacture, maintenance, and testing of aircraft survival equipment, as well as training aircrew in emergency procedures. Following his military service, he spent more than 30 years as a paramedic, gaining extensive frontline experience in emergency response, patient care, and critical incident management.

This unique combination of defence, emergency services, and operational experience forms the foundation of EFAP Australia, providing valuable insight into the challenges faced by first responders and organisations operating in demanding environments.

Today, EFAP Australia combines this real-world experience with local manufacturing expertise to design and produce high-quality first aid, rescue, aeromedical, and emergency response equipment. Working closely with our customers, we develop practical, fit-for-purpose solutions tailored to their operational requirements and real-world challenges.

Based in Hobart, Tasmania, EFAP Australia specialises in textile manufacturing, designing and producing a unique range of custom-made products for emergency services, healthcare providers, government agencies, businesses, and community organisations. Our products are proudly manufactured in Tasmania, with design, construction, and final assembly completed in our local workshop.

Over the years, we have built strong, long-term relationships with our customers, many of whom have partnered with us for decades. These lasting partnerships enable us to continuously improve our products through customer feedback, operational experience, and field testing. Many of our designs have evolved directly from working alongside emergency responders and frontline personnel, ensuring they are practical, durable, and suited to real-world applications.
